Log loader Operator: Operate a loader equipped with cable, hydraulic or pneumatic controlled grapples. Load tree-length wood, four foot pulpwood and logs onto trucks and trailers. Select wood to be loaded by specie and size to attain a balanced and compact load. Operate a truck so that loader can be moved from one site to another. Perform minor maintenance on loader and truck. Make minor repairs and adjustments to loader and truck. Be knowledgeable about mechanics and hydraulics. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a shovel loader operator ( hydraulic Crane ). Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must be in good health and physical condition. Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and in remote areas. Operator must comply with landowner environmental regulations. Must have ability to load two trucks per hour. Must have a valid class "B" driver license and be insurance by the company's insurance carrier.
The job opening is temporary position. Work is guaranteed for 3/4 of the contract period specified in reg. 20 CFR 655.122(i). Housing will be made available at no cost to workers, including U.S. workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of each working day. Workers will also be paid an overtime rate of pay equal to one and one half the base rates of pay listed above for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the same pay week period, if applicable. Work Tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided by the employer or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate. Base rates are for the first 40 hours worked within a pay week period. Workers will also be paid an overtime rate of pay equal to one and one half the base rates of pay listed above for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the same pay week period, if applicable.
