The Town of Charleston seeks an individual to fill a temporary to part time position of Deputy Clerk/Deputy Registrar of Voters and General Assistance Administrator.
This position includes greeting and assisting the public, registering vehicles, selling recreational licenses, etc. This position assists the Administrative Assistant as Deputy Tax Collector, and Deputy Treasurer.
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, proficiency with a typewriter, the ability to multi-task, and excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in a municipal office setting and familiarity with municipal Trio software is a plus but not required, individuals with other related experience are encouraged to apply.
