Food Plant Sanitation Worker
Full Time during Production (40 hrs a week)

Duties & Responsibilies:
cleaning and setting up equipment following a Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure all assigned plant areas and equipment are cleaned/sanitized on a daily basis. Ensure daily completion of required logs/documentation. Understanding and use a variety of sanitation chemicals and sanitation equipment to safel and effectively complete assigned tasks. Responsible for the daily exterior cleaning of machinery and squeegeeing floors, protect product from contamination while completing tasks. Perform all responsibilities following food safety and health and safety policies and procedures. Protect sensitive equipment from wet wash as required. Disassembel and reassemble equipment as necessary. Report safety/maintenance issues to general manager and maintenance. Drain slurry ice tanks, rinse and clean all tanks and traps. Assist with Lobster delivery as necessary. Works with production and other co workers to meet sanitation schedules while maximizing productivity. perform all other tasks as requested by plant/floor supervisor. Cleaning of all common areas, locker rooms, break rooms, showers and rest room facilities.
Seafood processing facility/Foor manufacturing Sanitation experience preferred.
HACCP certification preferred.
Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Strong, physical stamina with the ability to lift 80 lbs.
Ability to maneuver under and around machinery in tight spaces required for cleaning.
Attention to detail to ensure that all processing equipment is appropriately cleaned
Ability to work in cold and hot environment.
