Accountant

C&L Aviation Group company has an opening for a full-time accountant to join our close-knit accounting team at our Bangor, ME location. The ideal candidate is an energetic person with strong accounting skills that will cover all the aspects of the role. They should be well-organized, have an eye for detail, be able to meet deadlines, be confident and professional in their approach with company contacts, and be a good team player.

Job Responsibilities

• The role will have a major focus on assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements for various entities
• The role will also cover other aspects of bookkeeping including:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Payroll
  • GL reconciliations
• The ability and willingness to undertake a variety of accounting tasks is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously

Job Requirements

• The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years' experience in a similar accounting role
• Have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Accounting software packages used include QuickBooks and Quantum (training to be provided using these programs)
