Property Manager in Training Emmaus Homeless Shelter
This job is Property Manager in training as ours will be retiring next year.
We are looking to train someone for the next year who will then become our Property Manager of the Emmaus Homeless Shelter. If you are looking for a rewarding career then this is for you. Furnishing someone's new home or helping them provide food for their families is something that we are very proud of.
This job is tending to the food programs that we have in place. Emergency food box delivery and pickups. We also give away free groceries two days a week in our parking lot. You will be required to lift heavy boxes regularly. This job also tends to our furniture program. The community donates furniture. We go and pick it up and put it in storage. When we house families, we set up their apartments with furniture. Some cleaning and lawn maintenance as well. This job is a physically demanding job. Attention to detail is a must. Basic shelter repairs, cleaning and stocking.
Building strong positive community relationships is a must.
Requirements:
Drivers License required
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an regular basis.
Honesty, reliability and good boundaries are required.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: From $19.00 per hour
