SENIOR LAW LIBRARIAN MAINE STATE LEGISLATURE Augusta, Maine The Maine State Law and Legislative Reference Library is hiring a full-time SENIOR LAW LIBRARIAN. This position performs complex legal and legislative research with a high degree of skill, accuracy, and independence. It manages several physical and digital collections with little to no supervision. Employees in this position work in our library in Augusta, are enthusiastic about public service, and conduct themselves in a highly confidential, professional and nonpartisan manner. Overtime may be required during the legislative session. A successful candidate will possess a Master's degree of library science; at least 3 years of experience as a law librarian; proven competence using online and print legal information sources; attention to detail; and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The salary range for this position is $70,886.40 to $98,571.20. The bi-weekly dollar values of some State-paid benefits for full-time employees include $14.92 for dental insurance; 13.29% of employee's pay towards retirement; and at least 85% ($466.54) of health insurance premiums.
