This position is responsible for facilitating and enhancing the communications and outreach activities of the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions at the University of Maine. Typical hiring range for this part-time (8hrs/week), two-year fixed-length position is $9,000 to $11,190 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Hybrid or remote work may be possible, consistent with the University of Maine System Remote Work Guidelines.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience writing for lay audiences. 
  • Experience with Word and Google Docs. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred:

  • Ability to work creatively and independently within a team environment, and to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
