Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
This position is eligible for a $2,000 (minus tax) sign-on bonus that is paid out in one lump sum. Requires 1 year commitment. *Current employees of any Northern Light Health Organization or those with service breaks less than a year are not eligible*
Summary: Hancock County Maintenance Worker III will assist primarily at Maine Coast Hospital including all its offsite clinics in the performance of necessary duties.
Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment for producing steam heat and other purposes for Maine Coast Hospital. - Operate and maintain all mechanical support equipment. - Conduct rounds of all mechanical spaces while maintaining proper operating logs. - Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden structures. - Applies coats of paint, stain, enamels, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces. - Assist in Fire, Emergency, and all other drills. - Respond and assists to the security needs of the hospital as necessary. - Stay current with all assigned training modules. - Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. - Contribute effectively to the accomplishment of Hancock County hospitals and offsite clinics goals, objectives, and activities. - May be assigned to assist will all above listed duties at Blue Hill Hospital including all its offsite clinics.
