The Early College Coordinator is responsible to oversee and operationalize all aspects of the early college high school program experience. This program includes the coordination of college courses taught at high schools by college-approved high school co-operating teachers and college courses taught on a college campus or online by college faculty which high school students enroll in. The University of Maine System and the Maine Department of Education provides qualified high school students free access to earn up to 12 free credit hours per year. The Early College Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the Early College program. The Coordinator will maintain enrollment and where possible grow the number of early college courses.
Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the starting salary is $55,000 plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan.
