Water System Operator/Technician

Position Available Water System Operator/Technician The Van Buren Water District is seeking a full-time Water System Operator/Technician. Qualified candidates will need to possess the ability and willingness to be involved in all aspects of the water system operation and maintenance. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Maine driver's license. A Class B driver's license will be required within one year of hire and a Water System Operator's license will be required to obtain within 2 years of hire date. Candidates possessing these licenses will be preferred. Stand by coverage some nights and weekends will be required. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package. Starting wage will be commensurate with relevant work experience and qualifications.
